Inventory Management
200 stockouts a day with NetSuite.
2 with Fulfil.
That's dbrand's story. Live inventory across warehouses, 3PLs, and channels. COGS updates on every shipment. True margin by SKU.
Trusted by brands managing millions in inventory
Why Inventory Management in Fulfil vs. Standalone Tools
Standalone tools track inventory but disconnect from accounting. You're manually syncing COGS and reconciling values. Fulfil connects inventory to your financials automatically.
| Capability | Shopify Inventory | Standalone Tools (Extensiv, Cin7) | Fulfil ERP |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scope | Basic stock tracking | Multi-channel inventory + order management | ✓ Complete ERP: inventory + financials + fulfillment |
| COGS tracking | No live COGS | Limited COGS, manual sync to accounting | ✓ COGS updated on every transaction |
| Financial integration | None. Requires separate accounting system | Export to QuickBooks or Xero (manual reconciliation) | ✓ Native accounting: inventory movements = GL postings |
| True profitability | Can't see margin by SKU | See margin, but COGS may be stale | ✓ Live margin by SKU, channel, warehouse |
| System complexity | Simple but limited | Another system to manage and sync | ✓ All in your ERP, one system |
What makes Fulfil different

How brands use Fulfil inventory
Multi-Warehouse DTC
$8M Shopify seller, two warehouses
Shopify shows combined inventory. Fulfil routes orders to the nearest warehouse based on customer zip code.
Result: 23% reduction in shipping costs. Finance sees inventory value and turnover by location.
Retail + E-commerce
Online + 15 retail stores
BOPIS and BORIS across all locations. Store inventory tracked separately from warehouse.
Result: Discovered stores with high foot traffic but low margins due to theft and markdowns.
Multi-Channel Brand
Bundles across Shopify, Amazon, wholesale
Same bundles priced differently by channel. Amazon lower margins, wholesale volume discounts, DTC full retail.
Result: Wholesale bundles had higher margins than DTC. They reallocated marketing spend accordingly.
Bundle Optimization
Holiday gift sets with component tracking
Bundles have their own COGS (components + assembly labor). Track profitability by bundle type.
Result: Discontinued low-margin bundles, created new high-margin seasonal bundles instead.

Questions? Answers.
How does inventory connect to financials?
Every inventory movement creates a GL posting. Receive a PO? Inventory asset increases. Ship an order? COGS posts automatically. No month-end reconciliation between your inventory system and accounting.
Can I migrate existing inventory data?
Yes. We import your current balances, SKU data, and bin locations during onboarding. Historical transactions stay in your old system. Most brands are live within 6-8 weeks.
Does Fulfil replace my WMS?
For most brands, yes. Fulfil includes bin-level tracking, RFID scanning, cycle counts, lot tracking, and automated replenishment. If you're running a massive warehouse with Manhattan or Blue Yonder, Fulfil integrates via API. But for 1-5 warehouses, the built-in WMS is usually enough.
Can I manage multiple warehouses?
Yes. Track inventory across your own warehouses, 3PLs like ShipBob, and FBA. Set allocation rules to route orders to the best location based on inventory, cost, and delivery time. Manage inter-warehouse transfers with full tracking.
How do bundles and kits work?
Define bundles as component lists. Fulfil calculates buildable quantity from available components. Sell a bundle on Shopify, and Fulfil decrements the components, tracks the bundle COGS, and recognizes revenue correctly. Works with subscriptions too.
