How does Fulfil handle FBA inventory?
Fulfil treats Amazon's FBA network as a 3PL warehouse in your system. You can track inbound shipments from your warehouse to FBA, monitor receiving status, and automatically sync FBA inventory levels. FBA inventory adjustments are imported daily via the Inventory Ledger report, ensuring your books always match Amazon's records.
What happens when Amazon receives an inbound FBA shipment in stages?
Amazon usually receives an inbound shipment over several days rather than all at once. Fulfil imports each inbound plan from Seller Central as an internal shipment and tracks it through to receipt. When Amazon receives only part of a shipment, Fulfil marks the original done with the quantity actually received and creates a new draft shipment for the remaining units, so your in-transit count reflects what has really landed. If Amazon receives more than expected, the excess is reconciled through a Lost and Found location. FBA inventory itself reconciles from Amazon's Inventory Ledger report.
What marketplaces does Fulfil support?
All 23 Amazon marketplaces worldwide. North America (US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil), Europe and Middle East (UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Belgium, Ireland, Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, South Africa), and Asia Pacific (Japan, Australia, Singapore, India). How does settlement reconciliation work?
Amazon payments, fees, refunds, and adjustments sync into Fulfil from Amazon's Finances API, instead of waiting for the settlement report. You map settlement lines to GL accounts in six categories on the Amazon bank's Account Preferences. Fulfil then matches payments to invoices, books fees and adjustments to the accounts you mapped, and reconciles refunds to credit notes, so you can see what Amazon owes you and what it has paid you.
Does Fulfil handle Amazon settlements in different currencies?
Yes. Amazon pays out each marketplace in that marketplace's local currency, so Amazon.ca settles in CAD and Amazon.co.uk settles in GBP, even if your Fulfil company runs on USD. The marketplace bank accounts Fulfil discovers from the Amazon integration use that marketplace's currency, and Fulfil converts each amount to your base currency using the exchange rate on the transaction date. You don't reconcile the currency difference by hand.
Can I run both FBA and FBM from Fulfil?
Yes. Fulfil handles both FBA and FBM orders in one system. FBM orders import and route to your warehouse for fulfillment. FBA orders are tracked through Amazon's network. You can split fulfillment between your warehouse and FBA based on inventory location, shipping speed, or custom rules.
How does Fulfil automate Amazon FBM fulfillment end to end?
FBM orders import from Amazon automatically, including provisional orders, which reserve inventory so you don't oversell while Amazon verifies payment. From there, automation rules route each order to a warehouse with stock, add the shipment to a picking batch, choose the cheapest carrier service that meets Amazon's delivery date, and buy the label when picking starts. When the shipment ships, Fulfil sends the order acknowledgment, fulfillment confirmation, and tracking number back to Amazon.
Can Fulfil rate shop carriers for Amazon FBM orders?
Yes. An automation rule requests rates from the carriers and services you select and applies the cheapest one. Rates are compared like for like: destination, number of packages, weights and dimensions, special services such as signature required, and the base rate including surcharges and discounts. Amazon's Deliver by date imports as the requested delivery date, so the rule only considers services that can arrive in time, and it logs on the shipment when none can. You can include Amazon Shipping alongside your other carriers, and stack rules so a preferred carrier wins whenever it returns a rate.
How does Fulfil decide which warehouse ships an FBM order?
Routing rules run when the order is confirmed. Fulfil can move an order to the next warehouse in your priority list that has stock for every item, send orders to a 3PL only when every SKU is on that 3PL's approved list, or split an order across warehouses when no single location has everything. If stock changes after confirmation and a shipment can't be assigned, a second rule reassigns it to the next warehouse with stock, with the option to split and ship. You decide whether bundles must ship from one warehouse.
Can Fulfil batch FBM orders for picking?
Yes. Shipping batches group shipments so a picker gathers items for many orders in one trip through the aisles. Batch by carrier and service, line item count, priority, sales channel, product category, SKU, or planned ship date, and cap how many shipments go in each batch. Amazon's Ship by date becomes the planned shipping date on the shipment, so FBM orders due out first can go into their own batch. You can also write your batching rules in plain English, and Fulfil turns them into a batching automation for that warehouse.
Does Fulfil send FBM tracking back to Amazon?
Yes. Fulfil sends the fulfillment confirmation and tracking number to Amazon automatically after the shipment ships. Map each carrier you use to Amazon's carrier codes: an unmapped carrier goes to Amazon as Other, which turns off Amazon tracking for that order. For FBM orders shipped to EU marketplace customers from outside the EU, the carrier must be on Amazon's approved list, and any rejection shows on the shipment in Fulfil.
How are provisional Prime orders handled?
When a Prime customer places an order, it enters Amazon's Provisional status while payment is verified. Fulfil automatically imports provisional orders and reserves inventory for up to 21 days to prevent overselling. When Amazon confirms the order, reservations convert to actual shipments. If the order is cancelled, reservations are released automatically.
Does Fulfil support Vendor Central?
Yes, Fulfil supports Amazon Vendor Central alongside Seller Central. You can import Vendor Central purchase orders and manage them as standard customer orders in Fulfil, giving you unified operations across all your Amazon business models.
Do I need Fulfil if I only sell on Amazon?
If you're Amazon-only with simple operations, tools like Descartes SellerCloud or Extensiv Order Manager might work. Fulfil is built for brands that need more than inventory management: manufacturing, kitting, complete accounting, or complex operations across multiple channels. The power of Fulfil is having Amazon as part of a complete ERP, not just another inventory tool.
Can I split orders between FBA and my warehouse?
Yes. Set rules for which orders go to FBA vs. your warehouse based on inventory location, shipping speed, product type, or custom criteria. Fulfil routes orders intelligently based on your rules.
How does inventory sync to Amazon?
Fulfil exports FBM inventory to Amazon automatically on a schedule, from the warehouses you map to each listing, using the availability source and cutback settings you choose. FBA stock isn't exported: Amazon manages it, and pushing a quantity to an FBA listing would convert it to merchant-fulfilled, so Fulfil sets FBA listings to Do not export when it finds them.
What happens if my settlement doesn't match my records?
Fulfil flags discrepancies between what you expect (based on orders fulfilled) and what Amazon actually paid. Common discrepancies include unreported returns, fee changes, or Amazon errors. You review and reconcile any differences before closing the period.
Can I fulfill non-Amazon orders from my FBA inventory?
Yes, through Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF). Fulfil sends Shopify, eBay, or other channel orders to Amazon MCF for fulfillment from your FBA stock, and pulls tracking back automatically. MCF is outbound only, so inbound shipments to FBA still go through standard FBA inbound in Seller Central.
Can I sell on Amazon Canada or Mexico using my US inventory?
Yes, if you are enrolled in Amazon Remote Fulfillment with FBA program (formerly NARF). You map the Canada and Mexico FBA warehouses in Fulfil to point at your FBA USA warehouse, so those orders draw from US stock and your cycle counts stay accurate across all three regions.
Does Fulfil offer AI solutions for automating Amazon Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM)?
Yes.
