What happens if a store is out of stock after order?
Fulfil reserves inventory at order time, so this is rare. If it does happen (damaged product discovered during pick), the order can be transferred to another store, converted to ship-from-store, or cancelled with customer notification. Inventory discrepancy is flagged for investigation.
Can customers choose between pickup and shipping?
Yes. At checkout, customers see all fulfillment options: store pickup (with available stores listed), standard shipping, and express shipping. Pricing and availability for each option displays based on real-time inventory and shipping rates.
Do you support curbside pickup?
Yes. BOPIS orders can be marked as curbside pickup. Customers notify arrival via SMS or app, staff brings order to their vehicle. Same inventory and fulfillment flow, just different handoff location.
