Multi-Warehouse Challenge

"We have no visibility into what's actually at each warehouse."

You added a 3PL. Then another. Now FBA. Maybe your own warehouse for personalization. Every location has its own portal, its own inventory count, its own way of doing things. Orders go to the wrong place. Stock counts never match. Month-end is a nightmare.

See How Fulfil Solves This

Sound Familiar?

These are real pain points from brands managing multiple fulfillment locations.

"Inventory sync must be real-time to prevent oversells during high-volume drops."

Batch syncs from 3PLs cause overselling during flash sales and product launches.

"No systems have visibility around what's being held at Amazon."

FBA inventory is tracked in Seller Central. 3PL inventory in their portal. Your counts in spreadsheets.

"Split shipments cause inventory errors. Canceled items get incorrectly restocked."

When orders split across warehouses, inventory adjustments break down.

"We use Pipe17 for order splitting today. Intent to remove."

Middleware for order routing adds cost, latency, and another point of failure.

"Closing the books from an inventory stance takes two days of exports and reconciliation."

Every 3PL has different export formats. Reconciling them is manual and error-prone.

"Multi-warehouse with multiple 3PLs including Extensiv and a China 3PL."

Each 3PL has different APIs, different capabilities, different integration requirements.

Multi-Warehouse Management: Point Solutions vs. Fulfil

Why managing multiple warehouses requires an integrated system

Capability Pipe17, Celigo, or Manual Fulfil
Inventory Sync Batch sync every 15-60 min. Oversells during flash sales. Real-time via native API. Updates as shipments process.
Order Routing Middleware evaluates rules. Adds latency and cost. Another system to manage. Built-in rule engine. Routes orders instantly at import.
Split Shipments Manual coordination between systems. Inventory often mismatches. Automatic. Each shipment adjusts correct location inventory.
FBA as a Location Separate tracking in Seller Central. Manual reconciliation. FBA inventory syncs as warehouse. Unified view.
Month-End Close Export from each 3PL portal. Reconcile in spreadsheets. Days of work. One report with all locations. Valuation ready instantly.
Cost to Manage Middleware fees + integration maintenance + manual reconciliation time. 3PL integrations included. No middleware needed.

Brands Managing Multiple Warehouses with Fulfil

From 2 locations to 10+, these brands run their multi-warehouse operations through Fulfil.

Before Fulfil, life was a mess. Living in spreadsheets, dealing with 3PLs not being connected. Now, we couldn't live without Fulfil. We have 4-5 different nodes for fulfillment, and everything talks to each other through Fulfil.

Closing the books at the end of the month from an inventory stance has been optimized tremendously. We used to have to do exports from every single third-party system that we partnered with. Now we have one report inside Fulfil. It takes two seconds to just click the button and pull it up instead of two days of a couple people pulling all these exports and reconciling them.

The visibility into available-to-sell inventory and the flexibility to sell work-in-progress inventory and pre-book inventory was the number one reason we chose Fulfil.

We're starting to split ship purchase orders to our two 3PLs, with one entity purchasing the goods and shipping them to two entities. Complex intercompany workflows like this were just not possible prior to Fulfil.

Common Questions

What 3PLs does Fulfil integrate with?
Fulfil has native integrations with ShipBob, ShipMonk, Flexport, Extensiv (formerly 3PL Central), Mintsoft, Logiwa, Deposco, and 20+ other 3PLs. For 3PLs without native integration, Fulfil supports EDI-based connections (940/945) or custom API integrations.
How does FBA inventory tracking work?
Fulfil connects to Amazon Seller Central via API and treats FBA as a warehouse location. FBA inventory quantities sync automatically. When you ship FBA replenishments from Fulfil, inventory transfers from your origin warehouse to the FBA location. Fulfil tracks inventory value at FBA for accurate month-end reporting.
Can I run my own warehouse alongside 3PLs?
Yes. Many brands use Fulfil's WMS for their own warehouse (often for personalization, kitting, or B2B) while routing standard D2C orders to 3PLs. Fulfil's routing rules can send personalized orders to your warehouse and standard orders to your 3PL automatically.
How do split shipments work?
When an order needs to split across warehouses (because no single location has all items), Fulfil creates separate shipments for each location. Each shipment adjusts inventory at its specific location. Tracking numbers flow back to the original order. The customer sees multiple tracking updates for their single order.
Do I still need middleware like Pipe17 or Celigo?
No. Fulfil's native 3PL integrations and built-in routing rules replace the need for middleware. Orders route directly from Fulfil to your 3PLs. Inventory syncs directly back. There's no middle layer adding latency, cost, or another point of failure.
