Setup Instructions

Setting up FreightView connects your FreightView account to Fulfil, enabling you to compare LTL freight rates across multiple carriers.

Prerequisites

Before setting up the integration, ensure you have:

  • FreightView account with active subscription
  • FreightView API key
  • Designated Contact user permissions in Fulfil

Step 1: Configure FreightView Carrier in Fulfil

  1. Navigate to Settings > Shipping > Carriers
  2. Click Setup New Shipping Carrier
  3. Name the carrier (e.g., "FreightView")
  4. Select FreightView as the Carrier Cost Method
  5. Add your default shipping product under Carrier Service Product
  6. Click Change credentials to add your FreightView credentials:
  7. API Key: Your FreightView API key
  8. Click Save

Step 2: Configure Box Types

  1. Under Box Types, click +
  2. Add the pallet and freight box types you'll use
  3. Include accurate dimensions for freight class calculation

Step 3: Request and Book Rates

After requesting rates:

  1. Review the returned rates with carrier, price, and transit times
  2. Each rate includes a booking URL
  3. Click the booking URL to open FreightView
  4. Complete the booking in FreightView to generate shipping documents

Step 4: Optimize for Freight

  1. Configure freight-eligible products with accurate weights and dimensions
  2. Set up automation rules for rate requests
